This was such an amazing experience! Highly recommend to any one looking for an adventure! My boyfriend & I were so happy we used this company, we had an amazing guide, great rafting group, they not only guided us through the rafting but also taught us a lot about the history on the lakes. Best experience overall and a lot of fun! Would definitely go again.

Today was the first time me and my son's went rafting, and this company was perfect for it. They were safe, professional, communicated what to expect, guides were terrific, Jeff was an amazing guide through this, all the guides were amazing, if you had questions they had the answer, any concerns were treated with respect and professional. This company made our first time rafting perfect, already talking about another trip soon. If your gonna go rafting, you need to go through this company.

My family rafted with Adirondac this past week and were not disappointed. Brad was helpful with the booking. Lucy was an excellent guide making sure we had an awesome (but safe) ride. Best rafting experience I have ever had and would love to do it again soon.

Had a great experience with this company! We had Jackson as our guide and he was awesome! We were the only ones who had music in our raft. Will definitely recommend this company to my family and friends.

Superstar Guides!!! Brad is an amazing guide. I was glad to have him showing our family all the beauty the Hudson River Gorge has to offer. Looking forward to ARC reopening for the 2021 season.

Great!!! What a great time!!! Just super people loving what they do! I recommend to anyone. Scout and Scooter the guides were just fantastic. Our kids ages were 7,9,10,11,14 they felt comfortable the whole way! Great for all -ages!

Fun trip with very knowledgeable guides Fun corporate team trip for 34 people. All guides were very knowledgeable and kept the trip fun, safe and interesting. No one fell purposely fell off the rafts. Great experience!

Awesome experience, terrific guides We initially rafted the Hudson River Gorge 4 years ago with Adirondac and were lucky to have Mo as our guide. Four years later, we decided to go again and were thrilled to see that Mo is still there (and, by request, she was our guide once again). While I have no direct basis for comparison with any of the other 9-10 rafting outfitters in the area, I can definitely say that this company is a class act, with friendly, welcoming staff at the office, competent (and entertaining) guides, and a tasty lunch provided. Appropriate attention is given to safety as well. We had a great day on the river and would definitely do it again.

Fantastic Experience We took a Boy Scout troop rafting with Brad and Matt from the Adirondac Rafting Company and it was a wonderful experience. There is clearly a lot of planning and safety planning that goes into the experience. Our faces hurt from smiling too much. GREAT trip!!

Thrilling trip for all ages This was the favorite activity of our whole vacation! We had my family was 2 teenage girls and another mother, son and grandmother on our raft. It had called for rain while we were on the river so we all opted for the neoprene jackets for $8 a piece. It never rained but we were comfortable in the jackets. I would highly recommend water shoes too. Angus has our guide and she was awesome! Very knowledgeable and quick to think. We did get stuck on rocks a few times but we will only count 3 (right Agnes 😉) and we might have lost be over board in one rapids but it was a blast! We got on a bus to the Indian river to launch. Your group gets pair up there with a guide and raft. You carry it down to the river where you practice the basics and then you are off down the river. We stop for lunch which wasn’t bad at all! Turkey sandwich’s with cheese, lettuce and mayo, bags of chips, oranges, cookies, lemonade, water and sweet tea. Were we ate you could walk to a small waterfall then back off into the river. We ended at about 3 with a 15 minute boat ride back to base. Highly recommend Adirondac Rafting Company! Don’t forget to tip your guy! They work very hard.

Simply Awesome! We had such a great experience rafting over this past weekend. From the moment we arrived we were treated exceptionally well. Very professional and very well run. Our guide Brian was amazing! He made our trip one of the best we've had. Thanks for a wonderful trip!

One of the most fun activities we’ve done My sisters and I and our families all went on July 20, 2019. We picked the right company to book with. Excellent and fun guides, a focus on safety and a great experience. You can’t go wrong with this group. It was an absolute blast. The best of the best here.

Great rafting experience! We had such a fun time on this exciting trip. Mo was our guide...extremely knowledgeable, skilled, fun, and compassionate. Great for the whole family! Safety is #1 on this trip and we were educated throughout about it. Rapids mixed with calm spots made for an enjoyable trip. We even had a chance to climb a huge rock and jump into the river from 12 feet high. Short bus ride to the river each way (5 min down and about 15 min back). Lunch is provided. Go pro cameras can be rented at check in. Professional pics taken on the river can be purchased online after the trip. Would definitely do this again!!!

To say that I had a fantastic time out on the water is an understatement. The staff is well organized, courteous, and highly professional. Our guide, Sandy, made everyone feel at ease and in good hands. She ensured at the very beginning of the trip that we all knew how to work together and knew how to be as safe as possible in the raft. She's well versed in guide tales, true and untrue, which provided us with lots of laughter. One of the parts that I appreciated was her ability to approach a challenging part of the route in a way where we didn't realize how tricky it was. I will add that about halfway through the day when we were mixed in with other companies the professionalism of all the ARC staff became highly apparent. A couple guides from other companies were not very courteous and quite rude, but ARC guides did everything they could to make sure customers felt safe and had a good time. I highly recommend this company.

Our group of seven had an AMAZING time with our guide Dan. It was a long trip filled with great stories, adventure and consistent laughter. We were a hyper group looking to have fun and Dan went out of his way to provide that experience. If you are looking for a place in the area to go rafting this is the place to go!! Thank you for such an unforgettable day!!

Oh man, we really had a blast on our trip down the river yesterday with Brad! Took our kids and gave them an experience of a lifetime...they haven't stopped talking about it!! Plus they rent GoPros and get them all set up for you to document the awesome sauce. Felt safe the whole time yet the adrenaline was pumping for sure! Our guide was amazing and the entire experience was seriously top notch. Literally everyone we came into contact with who was working for them was approachable, fun, and knowledgeable. Would HIGHLY recommend Adirondac Rafting Company to any parent looking to have fun as an entire family. Thanks for everything guys!

We used Adirondac Rafting Co. for a birthday trip with a group of friends and we couldn't have enjoyed ourselves anymore! The weather was perfect. Our guide Dan was hilarious and very knowledgeable of the river and history of the area. From the rock jumping, river swimming, and rafting it was 17 miles of pure excitement. My face hurt from so much smiling. I would highly recommend renting the GoPro. We split the cost of it and have some great footage of our expert rafting skills. We can't wait to visit again!!!

Once a year, I get together with a few friends to go rafting. This past week, we did our 3rd trip with Adirondack Rafting and it was so much fun as usual! I always enjoy the amazing views, rock jump, swimming in the river, and of course: the intense rapids! The guides are very knowledgeable and they make the trip down the rivers fun, safe, and exciting! The rafts and other equipment provided are excellent as well. They have GoPro rentals available which can be mounted to the raft or helmets. There is also a photographer that takes photos of the whole raft and can be purchased later from their website. Looking forward to next years trip, which will be our 4th visit!

Had such a great time! Our instructor was a lot of fun and very knowledgeable. It was absolutely worth the price. If you go during a colder time (May) you'll have to rent a wet suit for an extra $10 per person but it definitely came in handy as we didnt get cold at all. A great company to try white water rafting with.

Truly a first class professional organization!!! My entire family really enjoyed the experience, from the moment we checked in, to the end of our 6 hour excursion. Our guide, Carrie was outstanding, consistently insuring that we felt empowered, safe and were having a good time. The execution was fantastic, they really care about their customers. Although there are other rafting choices, I felt we made the best possible choice when we selected Adirondac Rafting. No doubt we will be back!!

Went on a rafting trip with TJ as our guide. We had such a good time! We were lucky to be paired with people "like us" for our trip (aka, there were a bunch of kids on the trip and we got paired with other 20 something years olds). The trip in it's entirety lasted until about 3pm by time we got dropped back off at the meeting place. TJ was a great guide, not only by keeping us safe but also by explaining some of the history and sights around the river. They provided us a lunch that was very filling. We rafting through a lot of class 3 rapids, and a few class 4. My suggestion is to spend the money to rent a wet suit. It was 70 degrees and sunny when we went, however, with getting wet and the wind it felt so much colder. It was SO worth renting and our trip was much more comfortable with the suit.

What a great day! Billy our guide was fun and an excellent captain of the boat! Great experience! PS - it does take about an hour and forty minutes from Lake Placid - so leave time. It's worth it!
